UIBC-UC played a pivotal role in hosting the CEO's delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) accompanying Hon. Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles, Government of India, Mr. Piyush Goyal, during their visit to the UAE in October 2023 for the High-Level Task Force for Investments between India and the UAE.
Led by CII President, Mr. R. Dinesh, the delegation engaged in detailed discussions with the founding members of UIBC UAE during a luncheon. The focus of the interactions centred around exploring collaborative opportunities between UIBC-UC and CII. The dialogue aimed at supporting the objectives of both nations, particularly in enhancing non-oil trade as part of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) mandate. The meetings served as platforms for fostering collaboration and synergy between UIBC-UC and CII, aligning with the broader goals of the India-UAE corridor.
