The paper primarily focuses on three key elements of the India-UAE relationship, examining its past, present, and future. It explores the historical and cultural ties, political and diplomatic relations, and economic collaborations between the two nations. Additionally, it delves into partnerships in energy, space, technology, tourism, and the Indian diaspora in the UAE, as well as defense and security relations.
The paper then shifts to the present, discussing the impact of the CEPA signed in 2022. Finally, from UIBC-UC's perspective, it looks forward to the future, exploring how CEPA will continue to shape the India-UAE relationship and its potential to influence global trade and cooperation, expanding their impact beyond bilateral ties to the rest of the world.
