UIBC-UC meets Andhra Pradesh Government Delegation

In October 2025, Hon. Chief Minister of Andra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, visited the UAE. Following this, UIBC-UC ChairmanMr. Faizal Kottikollon welcomed a high-level delegation from the Government of Andhra Pradesh, led by Dr. Ponguru Narayana, Hon’ble Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD), to the UIBC-UC office on 3 Nov 2025.

The delegation included Mr. K. Kanna Babu, IAS – Commissioner, APCRDA; Mr. S.V.R. Srinivas, IAS (Retd.); Mr. D. Laxmi Parthasarathy, IAS (Retd.) – CMD, ADCL; Mr. Sampath Kumar, IAS – Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration; Mr. Saurya Man Patel, IAS – MD, AP Drones Corporation; Mr. K. Padmanabha Rao – PS to Hon’ble Minister, MA&UD; and Shri B.G. Krishnan, Consul (Trade & Commerce), Consulate General of India, Dubai.

Discussions centered on deepening UAE–Andhra Pradesh partnership inurban infrastructure, smart cities, sustainability, technology innovation, and industrial development, priority sectors strengthening the Indo–UAE economic corridor under the CEPA framework.

A key focus area was the Amaravati Capital City Project, a flagship greenfield capital envisioned to be modern, sustainable, and globally competitive capital under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu. The delegation highlighted the state’s commitment to attracting global investments, building on the Chief Minister’s recent visit to the UAE to engage with strategic investors and development partners.

“Andhra Pradesh offers tremendous potential for UAE investors in infrastructure, manufacturing, and technology. Together, we aim to create a lasting impact that drives innovation and inclusive growth,” said Mr. Faizal Kottikollon, Chairman, UIBC-UC.

The engagement reaffirms UIBC-UC’s commitment to fostering high-impact partnerships that strengthen bilateral economic ties and accelerate sustainable development across the region.
